Thanks to the dirt-repellent surface finish, dirt and limescale simply roll off and flow down the siphon with every flush. The surface not only stays cleaner for longer and is very low maintenance, but it also minimises the development of germs and bacteria. It also eliminates odours, as dirt residue cannot stick to the surface. 

Only use soft dish sponges or cloths to clean, and no scouring powder. Over time, scouring powder and rough sponges will damage the CeramicPlus surface and the water-repellent effect will disappear. Furthermore, CeramicPlus does not need any physical or chemical aggressive care products as stubborn dirt cannot develop in the first place. You can use standard all-purpose cleaners and household vinegar as cleaning products. Villeroy & Boch also has the innovative AntiBac surface coating for added hygiene. The glaze, containing silver ions, is integrated in the ceramic and inhibits bacterial growth by more than 99%. Moreover, these microparticles are safe for you and the environment and provide lasting hygiene protection.

Whether you install a floor-standing or wall-mounted shelf toilet in your bathroom depends on your personal preferences. A floor-standing toilet, often with an exposed cistern, is generally the best choice for certain styles in order to complement the interior design. The floor-standing O.novo version can also be equipped with a flush valve to bring more retro charm and a touch of nostalgia to your bathroom. Moreover, it is less complicated to install and replace a floor-standing toilet than a wall-mounted model. However, wall-mounted models are becoming more popular. This type of toilet doesn’t have any floor contact, so you can easily wipe the floor underneath the toilet and clean the bathroom more thoroughly. It gives the bathroom an airier look, as the cistern is often concealed behind the wall and only the flush plates are visible. This will also make your bathroom look larger.

You just have to retrofit accordingly. Using a 90°-bend, you can turn a horizontal outlet into a vertical drain. It can be added on and connected quickly.
